About this book
Barabbas appears in all four Gospels and never speaks a word. A rebel and a murderer, he was waiting to die when the crowd shouted his name.
The Man Who Took His Place tells the story of the prisoner released when Jesus was condemned, and shows how one man’s freedom reveals the heart of the gospel: the innocent for the guilty, the righteous for the unrighteous.
Barabbas’s story is, in the end, our story. What will you do with your freedom?
